This position would be based out of our Seattle head office.

Who You Are

You are organized, strategic, and proactive. You have a background managing web design and software development projects, and experience with both waterfall and agile processes. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects from initiation to completion. This includes project planning, budgeting, scheduling deliverables, as well as client communications and writing proposals. You’ll help set priorities and guide resourcing decisions working together with our partners and senior team.

You will work closely with our designers and technologists on a wide range of projects at the intersection of design, technology, and data visualization, from websites and web applications to media installations—keeping the project on time and on budget, and facilitating best-of-class outcomes. Primary Responsibilities

• Fostering positive, productive working relationships with client stakeholders and the internal team through timely and effective communication
• Collaborate with the project leads and the Operations Manager by managing day-to-day scheduling of a team of designers and technologists to stay on task with project milestones
• Provide weekly communication for projects including project status, resolving project issues, problems, and changes
• Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style
• Conduct design reviews with stakeholders to ensure designs meet the client’s requirements
• Streamline processes and deliverables to keep costs at an appropriate level
• Ensure that a project's technical requirements and objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution
• Accountable for recognizing what will ensure a project's operational success, including forecasting project budget, schedule, quality, and scope management
• Accountable for client satisfaction and a positive relationship
• Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately
• Handle invoicing for projects managed and provide regular team utilization reports

Your Qualifications

• 4+ years leading design projects
• Experience managing design, UX, and software development projects
• Adept at leading client meetings and internal project reviews
• Strong work ethic and ability to understand clients’ needs with a drive to exceed their expectations
• Experience in both waterfall and agile project management
• Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Goal-oriented, pragmatic and self-disciplined—good at project planning, organizing, communication, team motivation and delegation
• Creative problem-solver and master of cutting through ambiguity
• Operational knowledge of web technologies and hosting options
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
